Dogs are only allowed during our annual Dog Days weekend, held the last weekend of our fall season. Friendly dogs are welcome on a leash but must remain outside of all buildings. Please help us keep the farm clean by picking up after your pet.

We strive to make Pride of the Wapsi as accessible as possible for all of our guests. Many of our buildings, attractions, and common areas are wheelchair and stroller friendly. However, because we are a working farm, some areas, particularly the pumpkin patch and other outdoor spaces, feature uneven ground, grass, and sandy soil that can be more challenging to navigate.

We continually look for ways to improve accessibility and are always happy to assist our guests however we can. If you have specific accessibility questions or accommodations you'd like to discuss before your visit, please don't hesitate to contact us. We hear this question often! Everyone age 3 and older is required to purchase an admission ticket, including parents, grandparents, and other adults.

Admission helps us maintain the farm, care for our animals and attractions, and continue creating the family experiences that make Pride of the Wapsi a favorite fall tradition. While adults may not be racing through every attraction, they're enjoying hayrides, the pumpkin patch, beautiful scenery, and, most importantly, making memories alongside the children they love.

Our 2026 fall season runs from September 19 through November 1. We are open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, plus Columbus Day (Monday, October 12) for families enjoying the long holiday weekend.

During the week, we also welcome school tours by appointment on select dates.

Yes! We have portable restrooms conveniently located throughout the farm, along with five permanent, flushable restrooms located near our Ball Zone and Jumping Pillow.

We know clean restrooms are important, especially for families with young children, and we work hard to keep all of our facilities clean, well-stocked, and ready for our guests throughout the season.

The Wapsi Adventure Card is an optional punch card that lets you save 20% on many of our most popular food items, treats, and activities. Simply purchase a card with your admission and use your punches however you'd like throughout your visit.

Adventure Cards can be redeemed for items like hot dog meals, walking tacos, donuts, kettle corn, gem mining, polished rocks, gourds, pumpkins, and more. It's a great way to save while enjoying everything the farm has to offer!

Adventure Cards are completely optional but are highly recommended for families planning to enjoy food, gem mining, or other extras during their visit.

We accept both cash and major credit/debit cards throughout the farm, including admission, food stands, gift shops, and other attractions.

For the best value, we recommend purchasing your admission tickets online before your visit. You'll save on admission compared to gate pricing and can head straight to the fun when you arrive!

Pride of the Wapsi is an outdoor attraction, so we remain open during light rain and many less-than-perfect weather conditions. However, severe or unexpected weather may require us to temporarily close attractions or close the farm for the safety of our guests and staff.

If the forecast looks questionable, we encourage you to call ahead or check our Facebook page for the latest updates before making the trip.

Because weather can change quickly, admission tickets are non-refundable due to weather once you've entered the farm. We appreciate your understanding as guest safety is always our top priority.

We recommend wearing comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes or sneakers. Since you'll be spending time on a working farm, expect to walk through grass, gravel, dirt, and the pumpkin patch. Dressing in layers is also a great idea, as fall weather in Iowa can change throughout the day.

Absolutely! You're welcome to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages to enjoy during your visit. We understand that many families have dietary preferences, allergies, or young children, and we want everyone to feel comfortable while spending the day on the farm.

We simply ask that no outside alcohol be brought onto the property. We also have a variety of delicious food, snacks, and drinks available for purchase if you'd rather leave the cooler at home!

We don't blame you, our apple cider donuts and kettle corn have quite the fan club! While these treats are typically available to guests visiting the farm, we're happy to work with you on special pickup orders whenever possible.
