Join us in September as we strive to help you grow family memories with our sixth annual sunflower days! With a fun new twist on many of our farm festival attractions, Pride of the Wapsi is proud to once again offer plenty of farmtastic fun for the whole family!

Sunflower Days is typically held annually in July. The sunflowers that Farmer Pat planted in May were hit by a hard-driving rain that hardened the soil enough that the flowers never germinated. Despite attempts to help them grow and push through the hard soil, they were a complete loss. We will unfortunately not be holding Sunflower Days as usual in July this year.

 

We are, however, planting sunflowers again to be ready in mid-September to extend our fall season for this year. Please see the calendar for our fall season dates below. We would expect that the sunflowers will be thriving those two weekends in September and possibly even the first weekend in October depending on the weather!
